Offline-first event payments

Keep selling when the signal disappears.

Blitza is a prepaid event wallet that lets guests tap or scan to pay, even when the venue internet drops.

One clean event ledger

Built for event pressure

Bad signal should not stop the bar.

Venues are busy enough without card machines hunting for signal, cash floats moving between counters, or a bar tab nobody can explain afterwards.

No internet dependency

Purchases are committed locally at the event, then synced when connectivity returns.

No cash bottleneck

Guests pay from a prepaid event wallet with a tap, or scan a QR code when NFC is unavailable.

No messy close-out

Every committed payment lands in one event ledger for cleaner reconciliation and seller settlement.

From loaded wallet to last round

Three simple moments.

Guests know what they are spending. Sellers know when a payment is committed. Organisers get a clean record of the event.

Before the event

Load the wallet

Guests add funds to a wallet that can only be used inside that event.

At the counter

Tap or scan

The seller starts the sale. The guest sees the amount, confirms it, and taps or uses QR.

Afterwards

Reconcile cleanly

Committed payments sync back to the cloud for reporting, settlement, and the event's unused-balance policy.

Clear on both sides

The guest sees exactly what they are paying.

Blitza is intentional by design. A seller cannot silently deduct money from a nearby phone: they start the request, and the guest reviews and confirms it.

  • Amount before action The seller, items, total and remaining wallet balance are visible before payment.
  • One-time payment request Short-lived requests help prevent accidental reuse or replay.
  • Success means committed The seller only sees success after the event's local authority has committed the payment.

Control the spend. Keep the experience easy.

Event wallet

Money stays inside the event.

Wallet funds can only be used with approved sellers in the event they were loaded for.

Flexible

NFC first. QR ready.

A quick phone tap is the preferred flow, with QR available when a device does not support NFC or a tap fails.

Accountable

One ledger, not loose totals.

Organisers see committed transactions in one place once the event data synchronises.

Recoverable

The wallet is not trapped on one phone.

A guest can recover access on another device if their phone is lost, flat, or damaged.

Protection without friction

Designed so a tap can never be an accident.

Payment needs clear action from the seller and the payer. Requests expire, balances cannot go negative, and every successful sale is backed by the event ledger.

Both sides participate Seller starts. Guest confirms.

What organisers ask

Good questions. Clear answers.

What happens when the venue internet drops?

Payments continue against the event's local authority. Once connectivity is available again, the committed ledger synchronises to the cloud for reconciliation.

Does every guest need a phone with NFC?

No. NFC is the fastest route, but QR is built in as a fallback for unsupported devices or failed taps.

Can a seller charge someone just by tapping?

No. The seller must start a short-lived request and the guest must open Blitza, review the amount, confirm, and then tap or scan.

What happens to money left after the event?

Each event declares its unused-balance policy before guests fund a wallet. That may be an automatic refund, a clearly disclosed forfeit, or an approved rollover.

What if a guest's phone dies?

Wallet access is tied to the guest's account, not only one installation. They can recover it on another phone, with the old device signed out.
